FOURTH NIGHT TO ECUADOR
02 June 2009 | Isla Espiritu Santo
Joe
It;s 5 am. Been sailng all day and most of the night on a SW wind of 12-18 knots. Course tending us toward Colombia, SSE, but a long way off the coast. Daylight will put on more sail and tack heading west. SW winds do not allow direct approach to Bahia de Caraquez. Motor sailing now, because batteries are down, with instruments going all day as well as running lights at night.
Someone please email me via Winlink so I know these messages are reaching Sailblogs, I cannot access internet.
Love to all our friends and family,
Joe and Adrienne
