All done!
24 July 2019 | Lagos, Portugal
Ann Ljungberg
So, we finally made it to Portugal last week!
The trip took 60 days including stops in Wilmington, Bermuda and the Azores and we have logged 4009 NM.
On Monday, July 15, we entered the harbor of Lagos and since then we have kept busy. First, we were very busy sleeping. And we’ve been hauled out so our boatlife is right now on land - the bed does not move at all!
After getting stuff in order at the shipyard, Sopromar in Lagos, we rented a car and drove to Sevilla to try to secure a docking space for the winter. Our hope was to be able to sail there this week but since they are doing constructions on the pontoons we need to wait until October. No worries, we’re happy in Lagos for a while and will leave the boat here while we are going back to Sweden for a couple of months.
This blog will go on pause until October when new adventures begin. Thanks a million for reading this far!
