Daniela was disappointed that she could go on a motorbike with our Colombian friend. Because you are not allowed to ride with 2 people in this town . There was a time where you could wave to any motorbike and he would take you along for a small contribution. Asia is full of motorbike taxis .Its fast and cheap and you have less traffic if everybody would use them instead of cars . In the Phillipines they have extended seats and pack 5 small Phillipinos on it .Or 3 fat foreigners plus the driver !! Well, the car-taxi lobby in Caratagena didn't like this bike taxi business , so they managed to get the government to pass this law . Now you must walk out of town, about 2 km from the center. There you get to a major road that leaves Cartagena .That's were you can ride with two all the way to the end of the country. The city seems full of little yellow taxis honking at you looking for business .It seems there are just to many of them . So they needed protection, i guess . What's funny ,was a recent announcement that the administration is thinking about allowing bikes for two again .But only if you know you're passenger personally !! Now , how could they control that ?? They havent got a president yet . Another vote in 2 weeks will tell, if its the ex guérillero or the guy that wants to re-negotiate the peace agreement and lock up some of the bad guys from the past .That's what my newspaper says..i dont know much about it . They just have some strange habits here . They have the nerv to ask me if i bring any drugs to this country... Comon guys !! Colombia is still one of the biggest drug producers in the world and they ask me...moi?? They killed and locked up a lot of cartel members . Others took their place, i hear its business as usual . But here in town in Colombia NOBODY offered us any dope . That's quiet a change from the Caribbean where even an old fart like me gets offers all the time. The same old fellows come paddling out to us, every morning and ask if we want fruit or fish . But we have tons of food and we have to send the poor people away .They are super friendly and happy to see some foreign faces. It looks like a little wind tomorrow ,so off we go to either Colon or San Blas , Panama .The wind will tell .

Daniela war etwas enttäuscht, dass sie nicht mit unserem Kolumbianischen Freund Motorrad fahren durfte. In dieser Stadt darf man das nicht zu zweit Früher winkte man jedem Motorrad und er nahm dich mit für wenig Geld. Auch Asien hat diese Moto Taxis überall . Es ist schnell und billig, und es hätte nie so viel Verkehr wenn alle solche Taxis nähmen anstatt Autos . In den Phillipinen haben sie sogar lange Sitzbänke damit 5 !!!Leute drauf Platz haben oder 3 dicke Ausländer plus Fahrer. Die Auto-Taxi Lobby mochte diese Konkurrenz nicht und hat erreicht, dass die Behörden dieses irre Gesetz verabschiedet . Jetzt muss man 2 km aus der Stadt zu Fuss gehen. Bei einer grossen Ausfahrtsstrasse kann man dann aufsteigen . Die Stadt is voller Auto Taxis Alle hupen dich an und wollen dich rum fahren. Es hat einfach zu viele Taxis und zu wenig Kunden, deshalb muss man sie wohl schützen . Gestern dann in den Nachrichten : Die Behörden denken über ein neues Gesetz nach . Es soll nun wieder erlaubt sein zu zweit , jedoch nur wenn man den Beifahrer kennt...Ha ha ha... wie sie dass denn kontrollieren wollen?? Sie haben noch keinen neuen Präsidenten. In 2 Wochen gibt es eine Stichwahl . Entweder der Ex Guerilla, der den armen Leuten alles Geld verspricht wie Chavez oder einem der den Friedensvertrag neu verhandeln und alle bösen Freiheits Kämpfer einsperren will . Das gibt dann wohl wieder Krieg. Das steht auf jeden Fall in meiner Zeitung , ich weiss es auch nicht richtig. Sie haben schon etwas komische Sitten hier. Fragt man mich doch tatsächlich ob ich Drogen ins Land bringe ? Die sind wohl nicht ganz dicht !! Kolumbien ist immer noch einer der grössten Drogen Produzenten weltweit und ich soll Sand ans Meer bringen??? Na ja . Auch nachdem sie viel Kartelle ausradiert haben , erschossen oder im Käfig . Neue haben das Geschäft übernommen. Es läuft wie geschmiert sagt man hier. Aber es ist schon erstaunlich dass man uns hier in Kolumbien nie Drogen angeboten hat .Das ist schon ein Wechsel nach der Karibik ,wo sogar ein alter Esel wie ich öfters Angebote erhalte. Es kommen nur ein paar alte Männer mit ihren Kanus bei der Yelo vorbei Sie wollen Obst und Fische verkaufen . Wir brauchen aber nichts und müssen sie traurig weg schicken. Sie freuen sich über uns Segler von einem fernen Land . Ich mag die Leute hier .

Morgen soll es ein wenig Wind geben. Hm ,mal schauen , wir fahren los Richtung Panama. 180 -oder 270 Meilen je nach dem wo uns der Wind hin treibt . Die schönen San Blas Inseln , oder direkt zur Kanal einfahrt in die grässlichste Stadt der Welt : Colon . Niemand bleibt dort freiwillig So schnell wie möglich durch den Kanal , wir hoffen auf einen sofortigen Termin.
