Inmarsat sucks

after a lousy night with either squalls and torrential rain,it was a lot of motoring thru this poteau noir, as the French call the ICTZ. Its a nasty weather zone with little or too much wind. It keeps you busy ,no sail
adjustment lasts longer than 10min..I am not sure if we were in the ITCZ but it felt like it 100%. But now the fone picked up a few bars on the reception , so i was able to call Julia to asure her that we are all well and
happy sailing in sunny skies.
This Inmarsat PRO fone t is a real disaster. Its supposed to be for emergency calls . But it didn't work for 2 days only occasional sms reception.Mailing with my provider only suggested that my phone is broken. Yeah
right... its working fine , the system has holes in the world coverage where it doesn't work. We have 545 miles to go and should be there by Friday.
I appreciate all sms messages with weather and Tennis results..thank you Napy and Julia...Federer lost huu huu
we have clear sunny skies and sail with 7 to 8 knots towards Gambier...all is well, except for the foul weather gear. That's soaking wet inside and out...drying now
