Its still pleasant here. A strong Easterly wind wind blows from offshore, but we are in flat water behind these few meters of coconut land. A few boats pass by, bringing copra to town and they all wave and smile. Gill came bye as well and brought us fresh baguettes. Since
we opened up an Iridium fishing buoy we are eager to find more of them. They have rechargeable batteries inside, the same like my battery drill. We still need at least two more of those Nicads and then i hope i can repair that battery pack. Its a shame that you can get a
drill for less than 100 dollars with cheap batteries inside. When they die its always more expensive to get new batteries than just throw it all away and get a new drill. I don't like this waste, so we , or actually Daniela walks along the windward side and brings home a lot of
floating stuff. So far we found 3 satellite buoys. I googled the Iridium MSI model and was surprised what this thing can do. It has a high quality sonar inside and it sends those data to a mother ship. They can look at the echoes pretty much the same like on board where
you can see the size and the amount of fish at what depth. This tells you what kind of fish it is. They seem to throw a lot of those buoys in their fishing area. Its an amazing tool to empty our oceans .Nothing goes undetected anymore, we hoover it all up, until there is
nothing left. I haven't found the prize of these things yet, but it makes sense to throw away a few thousand dollars if they tell you there is a big school of fish that is worth many thousands and finding it yourself with a big trawler eats up to much fuel. Its all for money, i guess
and we are getting better at this. Until the last river is polluted, all trees are gone and the oceans have no more fish. Its then and only then, that we realize that we cannot eat money.
We might go further south to Nake to try some fishing. My legs are good but i am out of shape :-)
