Nobody here. Seems like the copra has all been brought to the ship and then they take a brake in the village. Get social , get drunk , get Netflix get ready made food or mommies food. Then its back to the coconut and fish diet. Although they have it organized pretty good.
As soon as somebody goes to the village they bring back coolers of chicken,baguettes and some fruits. Nobody has a fridge here ,so we often get invited to eat chicken or pork. But less and less , word has gotten around that those "franies" don't eat meat and don't drink
either. On the way here we stoped at a popular motu for the kite surfers. Ther is a section of this atoll that has hardly any trees, just sandbanks. This is perfect for the kite boarders . It gives them regular wind without the turbulence you get behind those tall palm trees.
Its obvious to see the difference between Sarah and Aurelin the 2 French Champions and the other clumsy beginners. We politely decline to get a masters lessons and go to the windward side for another search of those Iridium sonar buoys. But no luck this time and while
the wind is blowing steady and its sunny , we decided to head straight to Nake, the next day forecast has clouds in it and so the coral heads aren't that easy to spot. So up goes the anchor and we sail along the motus and i get a pretty good sunburn, since i NEVER put
on any cream .
I escape a week of web madness with Corona for ever news. I heard that Trump and many of his decibels got it. I don't wish this ordeal to anybody , but i couldn't help wondering how many millions are not wishing him well. I don't think i ever heard of any politician that was
hated so much. Its been 4 years that i met a couple of Americans that supported him. Since then i only met Americans that are ashamed of him. No matter what i think , i still wish the man good health and hope he can retire in peace.
I collected a few hermit crabs to use as bait to get some groupers . But Daniela started to talk to them , feed them coconuts and gave them names. I don't think i can bash them up with a hammer and put their helpless body on a hook..."Mecky and Mooky" will be released
again and we shall eat cabbage and coconuts.... They kept us awake all night rumbling i their bucket.
