HALF WAY TO CRESCENT CITY

14 December 2022 | Sailing in the US West Coast
Rolfo
I thought it would be tuff, but so far we have been lucky, A few warm days and pleasant winds was in the forecast and that's what we got. Only down to 7.5C and the ocean temperature is slowly getting warmer. Today the sunshine heats up the salon and during the night
we fire up our buddy gas heater for a few minutes and that keeps us around 12 C .
It looks like we get wind from the south on Friday, so for us no use to fight against it, Just wait for the next window. And if we have to stay a long time in Crescent City ....so be it.
Now we sail wing to wing gib and genoa the two yellow sails and it feels just right.

First sunny and hot, then the fog moves in and the boat gets all wet. You feel the light drizzle
