i winder why i waited so long to fix the rudder bearings and hydraulics. With everything super tight , the autopilot works half as much as before and the course is very stable.. There was i bid of wind around Cape Blanco with big seas building up. Yelo surfed it down easily.
But if ever you would have to hand steer, this would be very hard. We only stay outside to adjust sails etc and then we are inside. Its 7C at night but with 28kn of wind sure feels like a lot colder. I am very happy that nothing broke...so far , touch would. Only once i had to
head into the wind and let the wind push us backwards to get rid of some major kelp lines stuck in the daggerboards. Thank god these where light winds. Don't know what i would do in a a gale.. Maybe it shreds them off.
29 miles to go , hope we get in ok and find the power plug and heat her up. During the days the salon gets very warm with the sun. At night we need power.. We have to stay at least 2 days for the wind to change. Maybe we get to explore the red wood forest....we are in
California...yuuppeee

First sunny and hot, then the fog moves in and the boat gets all wet. You feel the light drizzle
