The Hoodoos
The majority of the Needles area of the park is covered in rock formations called the Hoodoos, An overview here shows these mushroom looking structures. The needles are condensed in one dense section but the Hoodoos sprawl out to cover the rest of the Needles section of the park.

A significant experience of our journey together so far through the Great Lakes has been a real deepening of our relationship - somehow a deeper 'colliding'. A wild sea can demand much of seafarers and the coming together to meet the challenges thereof has already more deeply connected our souls. As the sea also has many contrasts however our connection has also deepened when together we experience the amazing beauty of the universe from a tranquil anchorage or passage.
Simplicity - this seems to be at the core of it all. Simplicity that is allowing us to just 'be' - with our individual selves, with the Universe, with each other. Its Beautiful.
