What Survives!

The Twisted Trees are lone survivors out here. Do they ever rot, someday maybe. They are fascinating the way they get twisted up from the wind.

The Seclusion

We found some!!! Seclusion that is. So far my experience in the Canyonlands has been different than I expected. The vastness, the beauty, that's all been inline with what I thought but I was expecting to be off more in the wilderness, away from the people. Even though the park is pretty unknown in the [...]

A Good Old Sing-along

Mary
We had hopes of returning to the boat, putting it back in sailing mode, having rhe perfect wrather window and sailing off to Madeira within the first week back. The weather seems to have its own agenda for us. With a storm coming thtough this weekend and not ideal wind direction after that we are looking at a departure date of next Wednesday.

Meanwhile we are thankful for a very active live a board community here in the Lagos marina. Leaders Susan and Andrew organize a variety of activities that get people connected and enjoying the community of like minded people.

Last night we went to the music jam/sing a long/line dancing in the marina hotel bar. Great fun and lots of oldies sung.
