Registering & Creating A SailBlogs Account

Creating a SailBlogs account is free and can be done from the main SailBlogs.com registration page. Filling out the registration will enable a SBFree (free-level) account. This account can then be upgraded to any of the Premium Membership accounts if desired.

Email Address

You email address is your username. This must be a valid email address. SailBlogs uses a email verification system to ensure that the email address is both valid and is owned by the registering member. After registering, an activation code will be sent to this address.

SailBlogs does not give away, rent or sell any member information.

Password

Choose a password for use in the system. Use only letters and numbers.

Blog Title

This is the title that you'd like for your blog - it will appear at the top of your page. It can be anything and you can change it later in the blog properties.

Address (URL)

This is a unique directory name that will be created on the system and used to store your uploaded information. It must be unique, cannot have special characters, and will be converted to all lowercase.

Boat Type

This and Boat Name are used to start your Public Profile.

  • S/V - Sailing Vessel
  • M/V - Motor Vessel
  • Other - Any other type of craft

Boat Name

The name of your boat. This is used in the boat name directory as well as in your Public Profile.

First Name

Account holder first name.

Last Name

Account holder last name.
