I am a photographer that recently relocated to the Gold Coast from the United States to teach photography at an Arts College here. I am in need of a nice Yacht to photograph swim wear on for folio and sample use. We would like to be able to shoot the majority of the day on the location so a boat mourned behind a house or marina would be great. This can be shot while docked as we need the boat as a background and prop. In sail shots would be terrific if possible. The shoot would be two to three models, swim wear designer, make up artist and an assistant. We can offer the owner copies of images as well as images of the vessel. I know it is not much, but as this is being done with students we have no budget for renting a location. Any input you maybe able to offer would be great. Thank you for your time. David Slaughter

Hi gang, Joined today. Sailed dinghys in my earlier years progressed to a 24' ply trailer sailer which I sailed to Cape Naturaliste and back to Perth- - had a great trip but realised that the boat was too small to do any serious coastal cruising you know what 5'2" headroom is like! Bought my current boat, Catalina 28, 3 years ago and have been extremely happy with the boat since then. just tidying up niggling and annoying problems replacing masthead sheaves, tricolour/ anchor lights, binding up halyards and stiff single line reefing have all been touched up. At the moment she is getting a HF radio installed and hope to get to the Abrolhos islands next year Fair winds to all Ray

Hi everyone, I recently moved to Sydney from San Francisco and I have the itch to get out on the water (I'm sure most of you understand that need). I do not have a lot of experience but I will work hard and learn fast. Anyone who wants to share their love for sailing and possibly make a sailor out me, please let me know. Cheers!

We're from Melbourne heading up the east coast next year then who knows where. Have just come back from a charter in Croatia...very, very nice easy +++ sailing . Doing some club racing til Feb then we're off on our maiden "big" voyage (been to Tassie..which does count, I think) .

We just arrived at Bundaberg Port Marina from Vanuatu, via the northern route. Stopped in Ile Huen and Chesterfield Reef to break up the trip. Had the lagoons all to ourselves, just delightful. We're from US, planning to leave the boat in Bundy during cyclone season and do some land travel.

Hi we're a couple of Aussies having left Mooloolaba in Nov 2007. We've crossed the Indian Ocean, gone around Africa and accross the South Atlantic currently in the Caribbean. We may head to Europe next. We would love to meet any other Aussie circumnavigators!

We're an Aussie family currently cruising the Med and would love to catch up with other Aussies, particularly with kids.
