SailBlogs can automatically process position reports from SPOT Tracker units. To use Automatic Processing, contact SailBlogs for information on custom installations. [Beta feature]

Spot support is available to SailBlogs Premium Advanced members.

To have reports from your Spot device processed by SailBlogs, you must update the name of the device to something unique. If you leave the name of the unit as "Spot Device" (as shown in the example below) YOUR POSITION WILL NOT BE PROCESSED. There is no other way for SailBlogs to match a sending unit to a specific SailBlogs account.

You will need to configure your Spot account to send email to a specific SailBlogs email address. This address is listed on the Map Properties page of the XPlot Manager or available by contacting support.

The following format is supported (current as of November 2009):

SPOT

 Spot Device
 Latitude:26.88913
 Longitude:-111.80878
 GPS location Date/Time:12/01/2009 18:49:30 PST
